Bye Bye Bunny, also known as Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical, is a cancelled animated musical film created by Warner Bros Animation based off the Looney Tunes theatrical shorts that ran from 1930 to 1969. The film was produced by Warner Bros. Animation and was originally planned for a release on HBO Max.
After starring in a smash hit Looney Tunes Broadway production, Bugs decides it's time to retire from the spotlight for life as a normal rabbit. This encourages Daffy to take his role in the spotlight. With Bugs' retirement in jeopardy, however, when Daffy is captured by a crazy fan and Bugs must venture to rescue him and his co-stars, while he rediscovers his love for performing.

On September 16, 2022 an artist announced that a majority crew had been laid off, which left the status of the film unknown. On August 22, plans for an HBO Max were dropped and the film was instead planned to be shipped to other streaming services.[2] However, Jess Marsifi, the props and effects designer, later stated that the film was still in production despite the lay-offs. Production on the movie was put on pause in order to rework the flim into a full fledged musical.
On August 15, 2024, an animator confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that the film was cancelled.
Music
The music will be produced by Ariel Dunas and Tom Kitt.
